Mother Supports Her CEO Daughter’s Efforts in Cancer Awareness

Somerville, MA….A mother contributes to her daughter’s, who is the Founder and CEO of Cancer Research Simplified (CRS), efforts in raising cancer awareness worldwide with her hand-crocheted scarves available at CRS!

There’s nothing like a mother’s love to spend hours of unselfish time to crochet magnificent cancer awareness scarves in pink for breast cancer and gray for brain cancer, available online at http://www.cancerresearchsimplified.org/shop-at-crs.html. Mrs. Saltanat Sahin, the mother of CRS’s CEO and Founder Dr. Ayguen Sahin, spent countless hours crocheting and shipping these scarves all the way from Turkey.

“Both my father and my mother are CRS’s natural ambassadors in Turkey since the first day of CRS’s creation”, said Dr. Ayguen Sahin. “When she wanted make the scarves for us, I was thrilled! Not only I knew that she would do the perfect scarves for cancer awareness, but I was also deeply touched by her selfless giving all the way from Turkey.”

The scarves will feature the CRS logo and a special “Hope” pin secured on them. “We wanted to have first these two colors; pink for our upcoming breast cancer symposium here in Boston, MA, and gray for brain cancer. As a long-term brain cancer researcher (glioblastoma), it was personally important for me to support the brain cancer community and raise awareness for this very important cancer type”, said Dr. Sahin, “Upon request, we will provide scarves in other colors for different cancer types as well.”

The material is wool and is quite stylish and comfortable to wear at all ages. These scarves are sold for $34.99 to benefit Cancer Research Simplified’s global cancer education efforts and are available now at CRS’s online store: http://www.cancerresearchsimplified.org/shop-at-crs.html and at CRS’s Breast Cancer Symposium, which will take place on January 28, 2015 at The Center for the Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA, from 5:30-9:00PM.

This event is free for public and you can go online and register at http://www.cancerresearchsimplified.org/crs-breast-cancer-symposium.html. Show your belief in Mother’s Love and cancer awareness by signing up for this important event for both men and women, donating to the cause, and purchasing your own CRS scarf TODAY!
