We are seeking passionate volunteers committed to making a significant difference in the cancer community. This is not a typical volunteer position, but a chance to become an integral part of our team and contribute meaningfully to our mission.
Key Expectations:
- Minimum commitment of 6 months to 1 year
- Genuine passion for supporting cancer patients, public awareness, and youth engagement
- Willingness to apply and develop skills in specific project areas
- Active participation in team efforts and project development

CERI Patient Intake Assistant - Supports cancer patients and/or families through the intake process, offering empathetic assistance with paperwork and assessments while providing information about available resources. Flexible hours and stipend provided; make a meaningful impact in healthcare support and contribute to CERI's mission of comprehensive access to high-quality cancer care, research, and education.
CERI Video Production Team Member - Will manage the production, post-production, and audio needs of educational and promotional videos to fulfill our organization’s mission.
Web Development - Will manage aspects of the canceredinstitute.org website. Must have extensive experience with Joomla 2.5 or Wordpress.
CERI Research Team Member - The CERI Research Team Member researches current advances in cancer research and writes articles on such advances as determined, as well as informative disease guides to the layman, which latter will be determined based on the Research Team Member’s scholarly background. He/she will also create further educational materials. The CERI Research Team Member will directly contribute in support of CERI’s work and increase CERI’s educational programs.
CERI Outreach Team Member or Outreach Coordinator - The CEIR Outreach Team Member or Outreach Coordinator will coordinate and/or engage in CERI’s community outreach and engagement initiatives. He/she will work to increase the organization’s presence in the community; and will build relationships with individuals, other organizations, and centers in support of CERI’s work. The Outreach Team Member or Outreach Coordinator will directly contribute in support of CERI’s work by developing and/or increasing CERI’s outreach programs in increasing community and collaborations with other organizations and centers.
CERI Social Media Team Member - Manage Cancer Education and Research Institute (CERI)'s social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin etc.) and develop relationships with the community, supporters, fans, funders, and venues. Must have flawless writing skills in English and the ability to craft a personable, professional tone for all online public communications.
We are also seeking German or Turkish native speakers for Social Media.
CERI Marketing & PR Team Member - Manage CERI's marketing and public relations in media and press. Must have experience in writing and publishing press releases. Must have flawless writing skills in English. We are also seeking German or Turkish native speakers for Marketing & PR.
CERI Youth Educational Program - Work with the CEO of CERI, education partners, and schools to help build and develop the CERI Youth Program™, and coordinate with education partners and schools worldwide. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the development of a unique educational program from the ground up. Must have excellent research, project management, people, written and verbal skills. Experience in cancer and cancer research is a plus, but not a requirement.
CERI Fundraising Team Member - Research new grants from foundations and corporate sponsors. Will work with CERI staff on individual fundraising efforts, including newsletters, fundraising events, and online fundraising campaigns. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
