~Cancer Research Simplified deeply saddened about the passing of its first mentor, Richard Klein~
We are deeply saddened to learn that Mr. Richard (Dick) Klein, Cancer Research Simplified’s first and dedicated mentor from SCORE has passed away.
Mr. Klein has helped Cancer Research Simplified off the ground, with many hours spent in often extended meeting in person, online, or over the phone. Dr. Klein never felt obligated, but rather did so with excitement and pleasure. He was impressed by Cancer Research Simplified’s mission, and helped wherever and whenever he could to have it develop and grow.
“I cannot describe how deeply saddened I am about Dick’s passing, it hit me very deeply,” said Ayguen Sahin, M.Sc., Ph.D, Founder and CEO of Cancer Research Simplified (CRS), a Boston-based, global cancer education non-profit. “Dick was an incredible mentor whom I cannot thank enough for all he has done to get CRS off the ground. He was always so excited to work with me on all aspects of the development of CRS, and mentioned that he very much appreciated my passion, dedication, and hard work. I could call him whenever I needed help, and he was always there with amazing guidance. CRS has a lot to thank him for. May he rest in peace, and may he know that I always appreciated him. He was the kind of mentor I always had looked for.”
