This morning I was rushing to the next appointment after a meeting at Harvard Square, and saw a lady with her girlfriend happily walking in my direction. My jaw just dropped: She was pregnant and was smoking a cigarette!! She was neither too young, nor did she appear to be in a particularly terrible condition- just a normal, healthy young lady...
I haven't seen such a situation in a very long time. I do not want to even think about the poor baby inside of her and his/her health in the future!... It is so sad to see that in the 21st century such people are still out there, and I know that we must educate people on these issues- we need to do it more and we need to do it now! This is exactly the reason why Cancer Research Simplified was born, because we need to educate people - at least for the sake of healthy future generations!
