About Yoga Therapy:
Phoenix Rising Yoga is a style of yoga that incorporates the mind and body into every experience. Each class is facilitated to create a direct experience of present-centered awareness. The most common themes that arise from a class are befriending the body, awareness, acceptance, choice, discernment, truth, truth in action, and flow. This style of yoga is for everyone (all levels).
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a mind-body experience that meets you where you are now and creates a state of embodied presence. The essence of a 1-on-1 session allows you to explore what's happening in the present moment in relation to your past and how you want to move forward in your life. Elements of a session include intention setting, supportive movement, assisted yoga postures, verbal processing, guided meditation, guided breath work, reflective listening, and an invitation to explore thought, sensation, and emotional patterns through the lens of the body. Yoga therapy complements conventional talk therapy and is also used as a stand-alone option. One only needs a sense of openness and curiosity for this work. No yoga experience is necessary.
Trinity Yoga Therapy utilizes the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy style of yoga therapy in the form of a private one-on-one individualized session. This is a safe space for you to experience the relationship between your mind, body, and emotions. The body may experience various kinds of sensations, hang on to emotions, memories, or past trauma. Recent research has shown that the body needs to be involved in the process of healing emotional wounds or past trauma. This type of yoga therapy addresses this by giving you a safe space to embody, empower, and express yourself. When the entire self is deeply listened to, it emerges out of old patterns, unlearns, heals, and remembers. You can show up aware, active, and responsive in their relationships.

Justine Ferguson, CYT200 is a sensitive and intuitive Educator, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Facilitator. Her focus has always been on creating a safe and nourishing session, class, or workshop that engages minds and bodies. She creates a safe space for you to show up as you are – whether you're in a classroom, yoga studio, office, or living room.
