CERI wins Top-rated Nonprofit Award for its Outstanding Work
Cambridge, Massachusetts, December 31, 2019– Cancer Education and Research Institute®(CERI) announced today it has been honored with a prestigious ‘2019 Top-Rated Nonprofit Award’ by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews of charities and nonprofits.
Cancer Education and Research Institute® (CERI) is the first and only simplified, multi-language global cancer organization. With its uniquely designed four major programs, CERI Personalized Patient Program™, CERI Cancer Education Program, CERI Youth Program, and CERI Cancer Research Program, CERI serves everyone, regardless of their experience with cancer, disease stage, economical status, location, ethnicity, and language.
CERI’s educational programs have reached more than 2.6 million people worldwide from 192 countries. Through its local and overseas lectures, CERI has changed peoples bad lifestyle habits dramatically. Seventy percent of lecture attendees started to eat healthier, 82.6% started to be more active, 69.6% started to use sunscreen, and an astonishing 83.33% either quitted smoking or are avoiding cigarette smoke.
CERI further celebrated many ‘cancer-free’ moments with its patients this year, through its uniquely designed CERI Personalized Patient Program™. After long, and sometimes difficult processes and with great efforts, as of yesterday, CERI closed 2019 year with another ‘cancer-free’ news of its patient.
CERI’s outstanding work worldwide led to its recognition by the United Nations with the UNIATF Award 2019.

Our work has reached more than 2.6 million people worldwide in 192 countries, we were able to change people’s bad lifestyle habits, made it possible for many cancer patient’s worldwide to be ‘free’ of cancer, and having received an United Nations Award was a crowning moment for our hard work,” she continued. “We are committed to continue working very hard and making a true difference in this world for everyone,” Dr. Sahin added.
The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that CERI received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experience with the nonprofit. For example, CERI’s now cancer-free patient in Germany with the nickname, Trancer, wrote, “I am grateful that this institute exists, by which those affected are so professionally accompanied.”
Another patient of CERI, Huseyn, now cancer-free as of yesterday, wrote, “The existence of such an institution is a great hope for cancer patients. When I met with Ms. Ayguen to review my reports, she gave me extensive information about cancer. This organization is a compass to go through the medical examination period in the right way. Taking on all of your worries, they are closely involved in the search for the best doctors and supervise the implementation of treatment. There is no doubt that everything we did in the beginning would end well. Thanks for everything.”
