Take a step toward a healthier life - hike with CRS!

Hiking is easy, it’s just putting one foot in front of the other but at the same time offers important cardiovascular benefits, it is a great cardio-workout and a weight-bearing exercise. Hiking outdoors is also a powerful mood booster. Being in the nature comes with tons of benefits: nice views, fresh air, and the sounds and smells of nature.
What is this important? Because we care about cancer prevention, and we care about YOU!
On June 15th, hike with us one of the most attractive trails in the Boston area at the Middlesex Fells Reservation.

Skyline Trail
White blazes. 6.9 miles. Average hiking time: 5 hours. The Skyline Trail follows the outer perimeter of the western Fells. There are spectacular views of Boston and the surrounding area. Most of the Skyline trail is in wooded landscape, with several steep ascents to rocky outcrops.
Meeting point: 10am sharp at Wellington Station (Orange line) and then we will catch together the MBTA bus #100 to Roosevelt Circle Rotary at 10.30am (this bus on sunday runs every hour, so we can't miss it). We will walk south to the rotary, turn right on South Border Road, to reach the Bellevue Pond entrance to the Reservation that is 0.2 mile up South Border Road on the right.
For the car drivers: at the Bellevue Pond entrance to the Reservation there is also a parking lot.
Please bring with you sunscreen lotion, insect repellent, plenty of water and your own lunch. We will enjoy the lunch sit on rocks looking at the Boston Skyline. It will be awesome!
Suggested minimum donation for this trip is $15. RSVP is required to participate. To signup and to donate, go to our secure Paypal page, where you have the option to easily donate with your credit card. Please consider donating to CRS for as much as you can: https://canceredinstitute.org/donate
